Hi! I'm Kristin (Kris).

Therapist. Mom. Real person.

Finding the right therapist isn’t easy. It’s not just about credentials—it’s about connection. You need someone you can be real with. Someone who gets it. That’s why I believe in being transparent from the start. If we’re going to work together, it helps to know who’s sitting across from you (or on the other side of the screen).

I’m Kristin—but most people call me Kris. I’m a mom of three, and I came to this work later in life, after living a few different lives of my own. My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by deep personal experiences and a desire to help others navigate the messiness of theirs.

Some of the words that describe me: adoptee, only child, orphan, divorced, empty-nester, New Englander, and small business owner. Each of these parts of my story gives me a unique lens on relationships, identity, and transition. I bring that lens—along with my clinical training, internship work, and lived perspective—to every session.

I specialize in working with people who feel like the rug has been pulled out from under them—especially after unexpected or major life changes. I work with men and women facing challenges like:

👶 Adjustment after baby
❤️ Sexual Concerns
😢 Pre-Grief and Loss
🔥 Menopause and Hormonal Shifts
🏠 Empty-nesting Navigation
💔 Divorce/relationship Transitions

Additionally I work with couples who are feeling more like roommates than partners, or who are at a crossroads wondering whether to stay together or go their separate ways. If any of that resonates, and you feel uncertain about the future, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate this uncertainty by yourself.

"Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we'll ever do."
- Brené Brown
"When two people decide to get a divorce it isn't a sign that they don't understand one another, but a sign that they have, at least, begun to."
- Helen Rowland
